A Little Gold Goes A Long Way
To celebrate 20 years of GLD, the first gold-backed ETF, we showed how a little gold goes a long way. We sent a solid gold bar car on a road trip from Texas to the New York Stock Exchange and gave Wall Street the Midas touch when we got there.
It all began with a giant, driving gold bar setting off on a two-day road-trip from Texas to New York.
We even made some friends along the way.
We rolled out the golden carpet upon arrival.
(But not before taking a joyride around the city.)
Once at the stock exchange, we painted the town gold.
We parked our gold car on golden cobblestones and even created selfie stations that utilize AI, casting potential investors in solid gold.
